Student Clubs

Under the direction of Mrs. King, Longfellow runs a newspaper for in-school distribution. Having a newspaper club here gives all our students, teachers, and school staff a chance to hear about all the terrific things that are happening here at school and in the local community.

This special was formed by one of our own students three years ago in an effort to help develop teamwork and time management while developing literacy skills. With a small budget, basic computer skills, and some creativity, our students write and publish their very own newspaper while build confidence, relationships and various skills.
